The Department of Agricultural Research & Technical Services (DARTS) carries out applied agricultural research, provide technical and advisory services and make available information and technologies to the smallholder sub-sector. In order to deliver these on this policy, DARTS has three major research stations. these are: Chitedze, Bvumbwe and Lunyangwa. Four experiment stations: Makoka, Mkondezi, Lifuwu and Kasinthula. Nine sub-stations: Baka, Bembeke, Bolero, Chitala, Mbawa, Meru, Nchenachena, Ngabu and Tsangano. These sites are strategically located to represent specific ecological zones. |
