Mission Statement

To generate and disseminate applied or product-oriented agricultural technologies and provide technical support and advisory services that can be directly utilized by the farming community and other stakeholders for increased agricultural productivity. 

Mandate

DARTS has the overall responsibility of conducting research on all crop and livestock types, with the exception of tobacco, tea, and sugarcane. It is also mandated to offer technical support and advisory services to farmers and stakeholders on soil and leaf tests, certification of seeds, and agricultural imports and exports.
