Department of Environmental Affairs
· Promote coordination and collaboration in sound utilization and management of the environmental and natural resources in participation with the government, line ministries, the private sector, NGO’s, communities and other relevant stake holders at district, national, regional and international levels.
· Promote development, implementation and compliance of environment and natural resources policies, programmes, legislation and other related instruments.
· To build a center of excellence in environment and natural resources management.
