COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY: MALAWI SDNP VSAT UPGRADE:

I am pleased to advise that the announced uprade of the VSAT system at Malawi SDNP was successfully completed on Saturday 27 May 2006 for the Blantyre node and on 4 June 2006 for the Lilongwe node. The capacity of both VSAT stations have been significantly improved so as to provide better and faster service.

The upgrades involved both equipment upgrading as well as bandwidth upgrading. Malawi SDNP needed to upgrade VSAT equipment and bandwidth in response to rising demand for our reliable and good quality Internet services and meet a number of committed requests that we have already formally received from new and already established clients.

We are committed to providing sustainable high quality connections and services to our clients and all Internet users in Malawi and globally, and to assist with sustainable development in Malawi.
