STOP CORRUPTION

Members of the Public are reminded that it is an offence, under the Corrupt Practices Act, to give, promise or offer to a Public Officer, or for any Public Officer to solicit, acceptor obtain any gratification as an inducement or reward for doing, or failing to do, any matter in relation to the Public Officer's official functions. Gratification means any benefit and includes cash or payments in kind.

Where public services require a Payment, an official receipt is issued: otherwise the services are free. If a payment has been made and no official receipt is issued, this may be corruption.

All public officers have a legal responsibility to report, within 48 hours, any attempt to bribe them.

Public Officers are employed to serve the people of Malawi and are proud to do so.

If you are concerned about any transaction involving a Public Officer, then contact-
