Relocation of the Department of Science and Technology in Malawi was recently announced. The department has been relocated to the Office of President and Cabinet. An new institutional framework has been announced with a set of objectives and startegic plans.

Among the strategic plans is the creation of the Working Committee on the establishment of the Lilongwe University of Science and Techmology.
