The objectives of the workshop are:

1. To identify the main issues affecting the policy and development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Malawi
2. To consider the policy, regulatory and legal framework for ICT in Malawi
3. To identify the main components for inclusion in ICT Policy in Malawi
4. To enhance a participatory approach to ICT policy development in Malawi
5. To make recommendations for the formulation of adequate ICT policies in Malawi
6. To draw next steps, plans and strategies for ICT policy and development in Malawi
