- The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in conjunction
with the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has released the
2010 Primary School Leaving Certificate Examination results.
- Of the 190,609 candidates who sat for the examinations, 128,868 have
qualified for the Primary School Leaving Certificate. This represents
a 67.61% pass rate.
- Of the 128,868 who passed, 56,665 have been selected to various categories
of secondary schools, representing a selection rate of 44.06%.
- All selected students should start school on Monday, 5th October,
2010. Students selected to boarding secondary schools should, therefore,
report at their respective schools on Sunday, 4th October, 2010.
- All candidates are informed that their results will be available
at the centres where they registered.
- All candidates wishing to query their results should do so in writing
and through their heads of schools. All queries should reach the Board
by 27th October, 2010. After this date, no further queries will be entertained.
- MANEB will not entertain any inquires about the results made direct
to it by individuals either by phone or in person.
